STUDENT ABSENCES

When your child is absent, please call the school at 775-857-3150 before 9:00am to report your child's absence. You can also put an absence request online via the Parent Portal.

STUDENT DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

To drop-off and pick-up your student by car, or if walking to school, please use the designated "Kiss & Drop" area located on History Drive. For Kindergarten, there is ample parking on the streets to park and walk your students to their classroom. DO NOT use the staff parking lot for pick-up and drop-off as this is a safety hazard. 

DELAYED STARTS

A "delayed start" will be used when extra time is needed for safe travel to school. A connect-ed phone call, email, and/or text will be sent out at 5:15am the day of a delayed start. School will begin 2 hours later, at 11:00am. Bus routes will be delayed 2 hours. The Boys & Girls Club MORNING program will be canceled.
